Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice

We are delighted to welcome you to Natal for the 3rd Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice. CBSoft 2012 presents the latest achievements and experiences in software research and practice. Our technical program is rich and varied with 14 keynote speakers, 7 workshops, 5 technical tutorials, 9 short courses and around 200 technical papers split between 7 parallel oral sessions.

We hope you will appreciate our programme and social events, all held in wonderful venues, within the beautiful city of Natal and the fine country of Brazil.  We are sure you will also appreciate the friendly locals and support staff, who will assist wherever they can.

Any conference of this size cannot proceed without a dedicated team behind the scenes, largely invisible, but without whom things could not function as they should. There are too many to thank all individually, but in particular we thank the Program Chairs for their wise advice and brilliant suggestion on organizing the technical program; the Program Committee for their thorough and timely reviewing of the papers, and our sponsors and supporters who have helped us to keep down the costs of CBSoft 2012 for all participants. Recognition should go to the Organizing Committee members who have all worked extremely hard for the details of important aspects of the conference programs and social activities.

We hope that you will find the conference both enjoyable and valuable, and also enjoy the natural beauty of Natal.
